Good morning, Fullerton Hills. It's Sunday, July 13 — and we're kicking off a big week. We just published our July Market Intelligence report covering Orange County, Fullerton, Placentia, Brea, Yorba Linda, and the luxury market. The data tells a clear story: housing values have plateaued, inventory is climbing, and the market has shifted into balanced territory. Whether you're thinking about selling, buying, or just keeping tabs on your equity, here's what you need to know this week.

5. Trail & Outdoor Update

Planning a morning walk or ride this week? The Fullerton Loop (11.2-mile unpaved trail) and the Hilscher Park Trail are both in excellent mid-July condition. Expect peak golden summer grass on the upper ridgelines, with morning temperatures in the mid-70s and light coastal breezes.

Pro-tip: Start before 7:30 AM to beat the midday heat. Temperatures on exposed ridgelines can climb into the upper 80s by midday. The Fullerton Loop parking lots at the Gilbert and Bastanchury trailhead tend to fill by 9:00 AM on weekends. Bring at least 20 oz of water per person, wear sunscreen, and carry your phone.

Trail conditions and access can change with weather and maintenance. For current conditions, check the City of Fullerton Parks & Recreation page or the Fullerton Trails Coalition.

Curator's Note

"Mid-July in Fullerton Hills has a rhythm all its own. The mornings are cool, the marine layer keeps the trails shaded, and by noon the hills are bathed in golden light. This week, I'd encourage you to take a few minutes to review the July Market Intelligence report we just published. The data tells a story that's important for every homeowner in these hills — values have plateaued, inventory is climbing, and the window for maximizing your return looks different than it did a year ago. If you've been thinking about listing or wondering what your home is worth in today's market, this is a great time to have that conversation — before the back-to-school rush changes the dynamic. As always, I'm here for straight answers and no-pressure advice. Have a great week, everyone."
